We watch a heck of a lot of videos! In fact, globally, we watch over 1 billion hours of video on Youtube every — single — day! Making money on Youtube can be difficult for some people; however, even successful Youtubers are splitting profits with Youtube and losing out on 45% to 55% of revenue. Never mind, Youtube also blocks videos for erroneous copyright claims and is a restrictive gatekeeper between viewers and content creators. Do you have a low amount of views? Oh well… thanks for your time, but you are getting paid zero dollars for your efforts. These issues are big reasons for Theta Network, which launched in 2019 and is primarily powered by its users, that share bandwidth and computer power on a peer-to-peer basis.
